Night of the Living Dead
This October, the Overtime Theatre and Film Classics Productions are proud to present a thrilling adaptation of one of the most culturally significant, groundbreaking horror films of all time performed live on stage: George A. Romero's 'Night of the Living Dead'. Performed in the intimate space of the "Little OT" at the Overtime Theatre, and set in the confines of an empty farmhouse, this stage adaptation of 'Night of the Living Dead' aspires to be a terrifying theatrical experience unlike any other. The action unfolds in front of, and around the audience, allowing them to feel completely immersed into the tense and uneasy world of our ill-fated house guests. This production wants its viewers to feel the claustrophobic dread of entrapment, to summon the strength and hope of survival, and dares its audience to experience one agonizing night a night of the living dead. 'Night of the Living Dead' at the Overtime is written and directed by Bryan Ortiz, and produced by Robert Jerdee and Suzanne DeMarkova. Featuring set designs by Karen Arredondo and costume design by Susie Hamilton of Free Rose Studios. The Overtime Theatre is located at 1203 Camden Street in San Antonio, Texas. 'Night of the Living Dead' will open October 4th and close on November 2nd, 2013.
