Dancing With The Dentists
As you know,Maine Dentists are committed to providing the highest level of dental care possible. We are also committed to the community. Unfortunately, there are many people in Maine who can't afford dental care. Thankfully, the inability to pay doesn't stop a few outstanding local organizations from providing these folks with the care they need. Helping these organizations help the less fortunate is important to us, and an idea was born...

...So, we would like to announce the first ever Dancing with the Dentists Fundraising Event!!



What is it?

Dancing with the Dentists is a ballroom dancing competition featuring a group of local dentists and their spouses. Each dentist will dance a two-minute routine with a professional, then couples will combine scores at the end of the program and the couple with the best combined score wins!

Who is invited: Everyone!! This event is not limited to dentists. We want this to be an all-inclusive event and we are collaborating with many other local dentists across Southern Maine to make this event possible.

Where: Italian Heritage Center [link to website], 40 Westland Avenue, Portland, Maine 04102.

When: Saturday November 16, 2013. Drinks and heavy hors d'oeuvres will be served at 6pm and the dancing will begin at 7:00pm.

Why: To raise money for two deserving local organizations - Donated Dental Services and Health Care for the Homeless
