Patients and doctors who battle cancer together sometimes develop uncommon bonds. THE LIGHT WITHIN describes just such a connection--the "extraordinary friendship" between Lois Ramondetta, a young oncologist at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, and Deborah Rose Sills, a middle-aged professor of religion and ovarian cancer patient.
