A Night with BGIM...a discussion on race, class and life
Writer and blogger, Shay Stewart-Bouley, known to many as Black Girl in Maine will be hosting a conversation on race, class and life. The discussion will be limited to 30 participants.

A reader of my blog left that comment and it made me think, what if several of us got together to talk about race? Too many times, we shy away from the hard discussions because they are uncomfortable. Yet change rarely happens on its own with effort.
After suggesting that a few of us meet to talk about race in America, I was inundated with requests from readers wanting to join in. So I am answering that call by putting together a public forum. For this first discussion, participation is being capped so that the group can engage in an actual dialogue.
