Brian Lewis & Laura Kennedy in Recital
Join us for an evening of conversation and music featuring violinist Brian Lewis and pianist Laura Kennedy. Brian and Laura will be playing selections from their latest cd and other beautiful music including works by Josef Suk,Robert Russell Bennett, Darius Milhaud, Robert Schumann and Aaron Copland.
Ms. Kennedy has performed all over the world and has been featured on the Mostly Mozart Festival at Avery Fisher Hall and on NPR's "Performance Today". Brian Lewis has also traveled extensively and has performed at Carnegie Hall and played with the Orchestra of St.Luke's, and orchestras in Louisiana, Kansas City, Syracus, Hartford, Greenwich, Wichita, Topeka and others including orchestras in Japan and Korea.
This dynamic duo have been collaborating for over 25 years. The concert will be followed by a lavish reception with refreshments provided and a Meet and Greet with the performers and members of the Nashua Chamber Orchestra. Proceeds of this concert are to benefit the NCO Piano Fund.
