2ND ANNUAL DEEP PLAYA FALL EQUINOX CAMPOUT!!
Last year during September's fall equinox, Deep Playa hosted an amazing, super-homey, super awesome, super low-key, yet stunningly fabulous Fall Equinox Campout. It featured a beautiful rural setting, dogs & kids & bonfires & music (both live and electronic) & drinks & food and... and... and... It was the most glorious time. So glorious, in fact, that we decided right then & there that it was to be an annual event. So plan to join us in our Deep Playa Fall Equinox Campout, three days of awesome!! Deep Playa you!!!
Highlights include:
Open bar!! We got liquor!! We're gonna serve it to ya!! (21+, of course. If there's a question, we will card...)
Art!! We'll have one of our beautiful stars, some walls to paint/tag on. What you got? Brang it!!
Phat bonfire!!
Sound!! Oh yeah. You know we're throwing down the beats. We couldn't hardly call it a "burner event" without it, now could we?
Singing!! (Calling all JERKS!!)
Movies!! with an attached cuddle puddle!! Mmm!!
We got a few carports and a monkey hut in case of inclement weather. (this IS Washington... it's bound to rain again sometime...) Got shelter? Bring it!!
Dogs welcome!! Kids welcome!! Not necessarily in that order!! Dog/child owners are expected to take responsibility for the wellbeing of their creatures. Remember, this is first and foremost a burner event. Be sure your wee beasties are up for the challenge, if you're bringing them out.
Open from Thursday afternoon (the 19th) through Sunday afternoon (the 22nd). Come when you can, the earlier the better!
Kitchen: We have an *awesome* kitchen set up available for use... We'll throw down some serious brunch action on Sunday morning (bring bacon!! Bring brunchy goodness!! Bring brunchy bevvies!!), otherwise we're hodgepodge meal-ing it. It ended up working well for us on the playa to have everyone bring what they had and we ended up with awesome, impromptu potlucks, daily.
Lastly, similar to the back of your Burning Man ticket, you assume all risk and responsibility by attending this event. You'll be asked to sign a waiver upon arrival. Here, if you'd like some reference for what that might look like: http://tickets2.burningman.com/info.php?i=2386
