Of the Uber-Nerdy theme, Artistic Director, Meagan Piccochi says "This is a pivotal moment within the story of our company. What better way to showcase how New Millennium has blossomed while also honoring our roots than a night's worth of fun events that center around one of the most prevalent tropes in popular culture that we so highly reverethe idea of regeneration and rebirth? We are all so incredibly eager to start our new season and this is the perfect kick-off to another 15 years of geek-tastic entertainment." Managing Director Ellen Domonkos White agrees, "In light of the exciting changes within NMTC, we wanted a theme that embraced and celebrated our transition into a refreshed and renewed companyand being major Doctor "Whovians" ourselves, the theme of "regeneration" naturally fell into place." She adds "We are so pumped for our upcoming season and we can't wait to entertain people with the nerdiest party in town-this side of Comic Con ."
Funds raised at this event will support NMTC's upcoming season: "Crazy for Swayze: A Swayzical," "Silent Night of the Living Dead," and "Princess Peach Conspiracy." A big portion of the proceeds will specifically go to the amazing artists that will bring this season to life.
