Seattle King County NAACP 95th Anniversary Freedom Fund Reception

Please join us November 15th, 2008 for this semi-formal celebration following the 95th Anniversary Celebration at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 1634 19th Ave in Seattle. We are honored to present renown professor and cultural commentator Dr. Michael Eric Dyson* as our keynote speaker. While the program at Mt Zion Baptist Church is free of charge, all proceeds from the Freedom Fund Reception helps us to continually enrich our community and fight social injustices.

The Freedom Fund Reception serves as an opportunity to relax, eat and enjoy the entertainment provided by local artists and musicians of inter-generational appeal, while simultaneously helping the Seattle branch NAACP to affect change in our community.

The Freedom Fund Reception takes place in Grand Ballroom I of the Westin Hotel in downtown Seattle. Dr. Michael Eric Dyson will present a Q & A session and the Seattle King County NAACP will honor the Loren Miller Bar Association, the King County Bar Foundation, the King County Bar Association and Mr. Bill Gates Sr for their relentless work for an equal society.
