The Emperor is Naked?
Have Ewe Herd...? As the nation prepares to flock to the poles, Deuce Theatre, a new experimental company stampedes into the Lowcountry this October with their original production, The Emperor is Naked?. Their spin on the 'ol "tail" by Hans Christian Anderson, is a zany political satire designed wake the "sheeple" in us all. This ensemble piece is woven with actor-generated music and a break the 4th wall approach that promises plenty of audience participation. Steered by "shear" madness and unafraid to examine the politics of the present and no-so-distant past, the company of Deuce-ers hope to make you a little uneasy in your seat while being "punny" enough to slaughter you with laughter.
