| Description |
 Hiromi shatters the formula. I dont want to put a name on my music, she says. Other people can put a name on what I do. Its just the union of what Ive been listening to and what Ive been learning. It has some elements of classical music, it has some rock, it has some jazz, but I dont want to give it a name.
Her energetic virtuosity is in evidence on her latest CD "Beyond Standard" (Telarc) where she crafts unique versions of familiar tunes such as Gershwins I Got Rhythm, Rodgers & Hammersteins My Favorite Things and rock guitar icon, Jeff Becks Led Boots.
