MY FIGHT TOO :KL SHANNON (USA) : Filmmakers: Robert Lawson , Kris Weber. KL Shannon is active in community organizing and grassroots political work in Seattle. Through interviews and observations of her work, we see how she spreads awareness about violence reduction, anti-racism, and other progressive social movements.
SHADES OF ORANGE (USA). Director/Producer: Larry Madden This is a short drama about the loss of a child, the daughter of a Vietnam War veteran and his wife. The man's exposure to "Agent Orange" causes the couple to wonder what effect this chemical may have had on their dying daughter.
SHORTY (USA). A classic tale with an urban twist: Cyrano de Bergerac meets 125th Street in this romantic comedy set in Harlem, New York. Directed by Jon Chang, "Shorty" stars Seattle resident Andre Canty as Russell, the modern urban Cyrano afflicted by his lack of height.
