Outstanding Young Californians Awards
The California Junior Chamber and California Jaycees Foundation annually select and honor Outstanding Young Californians (OYC). Each honoree is presented with the crystal OYC trophy at the OYC Banquet. The Banquet highlights each honoree's career in narrative form and provides a stage for them to challenge and inspire California's youth.
23 young men and women in all fields of endeavor were nominated for OYC honors - 13 of whom have been selected to receive the distinction of 2006 Outstanding Young Californian. They will be honored at this year's OYC Banquet on April 22nd.
