Taqueria del Sol Brings Nashville to Atlanta for the Piggy Bank Dinner Series

Taqueria del Sol is excited to announce the third installment of the Piggy Bank Dinners to take place on July 14 from 6:30 until 9:30 p.m. The Piggy Bank Dinners are an ongoing series of specialty guest chef dinners benefiting the Southern Foodways Alliance (SFA). This is will be the first Piggy Bank Dinner to take place in 2013, and will feature chefs Roderick Bailey of The Silly Goose and Josh Habiger of The Catbird Seat, both located in Nashville, Tennessee.

Taking place at the Taqueria del Sol location at 2165 Cheshire Bridge Road, Atlanta, Ga. 30324, tickets to the Piggy Bank Dinner are $75 per person. Tickets will include a welcome cocktail provided by Nelson's Green Brier Distillery and a six-course dinner with wine pairings (gratuity and tax included). A cash bar will also be available.

Piggy Bank Dinner 2013 Menu:

SNACKS
Mini Crispy Taco (guacamole, lettuce, pico and lemon dressing)

Corn Tortilla Pablas (refried beans, Morita sauce, jalapeno salad and Parmesan cheese)

FIRST
Steelhead Salmon Sashimi (tea smoked tomato, olives, micro basil, chive oil, pine nuts)

SECOND
Snapper (poached in chorizo oil; elote style corn salad, charred leeks)

THIRD
Grass-fed Young Goat (roasted birria style in an aromatic chili sauce, served with housemade corn tortillas, toasted almond sauce and green rice)

FOURTH
Cheese Course (Dancing Fern cheese - Sequatchi Cove, savory granola, apricot and hazelnut butter)

DESSERT
Roasted Peach & Goat Cheese Torte (peach goats milk milkshake, candied walnuts, thyme syrup)
