The 1st Annual Geekie Awards is the first-ever live streamed geek-genre award show featuring the best indie-created comic books, graphic novels, short films, web series, podcasts, trailers, music videos, toys, games, art, craft, crowdfunding and websites via an action-packed award show.
With a vibe such as the MTV Movie Awards and Spike's Scream Awards, The Geekie Awards will be a live ceremony intermixed with humorous, well-crafted digital content + a special live experience for guests!
Stan Lee receives the Lifetime Achievement Award - Presented by Seth Green!
Presenters include Richard Hatch (Battlestar Galactica), Grant Imahara (Mythbusters), Brea Grant (Dexter, Heroes), Kevin Shinick (MAD, Robot Chicken), Andrew Bowen (Rock Jocks, MAD), Winner Twins (award winning sci-fi authors) Ashley Esqueda (host of Techfoolery), Bonnie Burton (Star Wars Craft, Geek DIY), and Stephanie Thorpe (ElfQuest), and others.

Dress is fancy attire. The Awards show begins at 7:30 PM.
Red carpet arrivals and VIP party begins at 5:30 PM (invite only)
All guests who purchase tickets are invited to the after party on the main floor of The Avalon. The after party will begin around 9:00 PM.
Beverages and a limited food menu are available at nine cash bars throughout the venue. Credit cards accepted.

Deluxe VIP Experience
Our VIP guests will be invited to a private pre-party to hobnob with celebrities and nominees and enjoy complimentary hors d'oeuvres before the show. Watch the production from the best seats in the house in Avalon's cozy exclusive couch seating area, complete with a reserved wait staff for beverage/food service needs. We'll also snap your photo at the the event, and provide you with a gift bag full of Geekie goodies to take home with you, the official 2013 custom illustration award art signed by the artist that created it, and a limited edition VIP only lanyard. You'll also receive a raffle ticket for the chance to win a movie poster signed by Stan Lee himself (raffle announcement will take place the week after the show). All VIPs are invited to attend the after party directly following the show.
Main Floor Reserved Seats
Get an up close view of the action happening on stage with our reserved cabaret-style table seating on the main floor. Sit among our nominees, winners and celebrity guests. Cameras will be rolling and capturing guest reactions throughout the show that will be live-streamed across Earth so there's a good chance you'll make it on the internet! You'll also receive a raffle ticket for the chance to win a movie poster signed by Stan Lee himself (raffle announcement will take place the week after the show). All guests are invited to attend the after party directly following the show.

Balcony Seats
Enjoy a view of the entire production from above in the cushy seated balcony area. Once the show is over, all guests are invited to attend the after party on the main floor directly afterwards.
Reserved seating is not available with this ticket; however, entry is guaranteed. We recommend you get to the event early to choose the most ideal spot to view the show.
Balcony Standing Room
Catch all of the action from above and hang with the geek crowd on Avalon's balcony, where the view is still excellent! All guests are invited to attend the after party directly following the show.

Bardot Viewing Party
Watch the award show in Bardot, The Avalon's open ceiling bar attached to the main stage area. Guests will view the action on several screens strategically placed throughout the bar, all while the show is happening live mere feet away! Bardot comes with limited seating (first come) and two large private bars for ordering beverages and food during the show. All guests are invited to attend the after party directly following the show.
Bardot does not provide direct viewing of the live event. Reserved seating is not available with this ticket; however, entry is guaranteed. We recommend you get to the event early to take advantage of limited seating available.
