A Spaghetti Western is an ensemble based show developed during a 5 month creative process. Examples of acts you will see in the show include aerial, club passing, unicycling, clown, mime, and more. Ensemble pieces in the show were created though the process of viewpoints, clowning, improvisation, and acrobatic exploration. The imaginative circus acts in the play were developed through a process of discovery, and they combine the use of traditional circus apparatus and new innovative elements constructed for this production, such as a stage coach, a fence, and a cactus puppet. Another unique feature is the original musical score and the presence of the musicians as central characters in the play. This production was created with the assistance of a Ca$h grant, administered by Theater Bay Area.
ClownSnotBombs is a circus company of six multi-talented physical theater artists, acrobats, circus performers, and musicians. Cast includes Ruckus Muckus, SAM Luckey, Kristen Parks, Carlos Kampff, Slim Chance and Ben Goldstein. Directed by Faeble Kievman and original music score co-written by Carlos Kampff and Ben Goldstein.
