In the Field! Zakarison Farm Tour

Join Main Market's In the Field summer farm tours and get connected with local producers. Visit Eric Zakarison's farm in Pullman, Washington to see how Eric is looking beyond oil and incorporating the use of draft animals and other environmentally friendly techniques.
Tour the farm and see pastured poultry, free range pork, and grass fed lambs. We will also meet with Cathy Perillo, who runs WSU's Organic Agriculture program, and learn about how the University is helping farmers move towards sustainability.
We'll be walking in the fields and out in the sun - please dress appropriately. Sturdy shoes and long pants are recommended. Bring a sack lunch to eat during our visit. Beverages will be provided to accompany your brown bag lunch.
Please meet in front of the Community Building at 35 W. Main. Arrive by 9:15am to check in. The bus leaves promptly at 9:30am.
General ticket price is $30
Student ticket price is $15 (Be prepared to show ID)
Note: Wear shoes good for uneven field walking.
