Stars and Stripes - Episodes - Bodies in Motion
IDT presents our 2013 June Performance series!
Friday evening is our annual celebration of dance in "Bodies in Motion V" featuring IDTPG pieces from the 2012-13 season, tribute to our graduating seniors, young choreographers, New Vision Dance Company and mixed repertoire presented by students of the school.
On Saturday, each performance will present a double feature, opening with "Stars and Stripes", an American celebration of famous marches by composers such as John Philip Sousa and more, marching and dancing our way though a taste of the old west while we celebrate all that it is red white, blue and more! This Ballet will feature classic and original choreography performed by our talented and inspiring students at IDT.
Audiences of all ages will also enjoy a walk from past to present in our second half of the performance, "Episodes" paying tribute to major film and television! Different classes, choreography and ages will be featured for each cast, so don't miss one performance!
