Pen & Ink
"Pen & Ink" is a collaborative effort between Sonic Visions Artist Cooperative, Houston Writer's Ink and Panhandler Publishing. This is a spoken word benefit to raise money for youth literary programming and to raise awareness of publishing avenues for poets in the Houston area. Featured are established Houston area poets who are "inked" (or tattooed) including Lady Pariah, Becky Van Meter, Stephen Gros, kim pickens, dee colonized, Layla Becker, Carmen Allen, Trinity, Sal Macias and Angela Guillory. Special musical guests are Lady Binx & Jehuniko of Almas Intocables. This is a summer celebration of poetry and we hope that you will join us for a night of grown up entertainment to benefit the next generation of poets/writers!
