| Description |
A fund raising dinner prepared by local chefs featuring the bounty of our region prepared and served in the vineyard. Please join Slow Food Huron Valley at Lone Oak Vineyard Estate on August 10th from 5:00-8:00.
Proceeds will send 3 local delegates from Southeast Michigan to Slow Food International's Terra Madre forum in Turin, Italy in October 2008 http://www.slowfoodusa.org/events/terra_madre_2008.html
Terra Madre brings together producers, culinary artisans, and educators from around the world in an effort to protect and promote traditional foods, small producers, and sustainable production methods.
As the largest event held by Slow Food, Terra Madre convenes diverse groups of people to unite them under the philosophy of good, clean, and fair food for all.
