The "Festival of Cheese" Comes to Madison!

The American Cheese Society will host its annual Festival of Cheese in beautiful Madison, WI this summer!

One of the biggest and most comprehensive events of its kind, the Festival of Cheese features the 1,700+ cheeses entered in the 2013 ACS Judging & Competition, highlighting winners and recognizing their mastery of cheesemaking. In addition to an amazing array of cheeses, attendees can sample delicious accompaniments ranging from crackers, charcuterie, preserves, and chocolate, to craft beer that guests can sample in their commemorative take-away wine glass.

Just a few of the specialty foods you can sample alongside the many cheeses at this event are:

-Craft beer from Rogue Ales
-Cured meats from Creminelli Fine Meats and Olli Salumeria
-Chutney from Virginia Chutney Company
-Crispbread from 34 Degrees
-Crackers from La Panzanella
-Small batch preserves from Quince & Apple
-Cheese Sticks from John Wm. Macy's Cheese Sticks
-Mediterranean specialty foods from Forever Cheese
-Potato chips from Route 11 Potato Chips
-Pates from Alexian Pate
-Mustards, sauces, jellies and pretzels from East Shore Specialty Foods

The Festival of Cheese is open to the general public on Saturday, August 3 from 7:00 - 9:30 p.m. at Monona Terrace Community & Convention Center in Madison, WI.

Tickets are available for $55/person and include unlimited food samples. A cash bar will also be available.
