Rick Gencarelli's New Grassa: Pasta Portland Food Adventure in the Kitchen
Portland Food Adventures has been invited into Lardo chef Rick Gencarelli's new restaurant, Grassa, to get a first-hand experience of Grassa's simple, delicious concept. You'll be making the pasta you'll eat at this PFA, and will be taking home with you. You'll also take home some sauce and other great goodies.
The same focus on local, fresh ingredients that Portland has come to love at Gencarelli's two Lardo outposts will permeate the kitchen of Grassa, and you'll be among the first ever in the restaurant--something you'll remember for years to come.
Chef Rick, along with chef Ian Hutchings (formerly chef/owner of Luc in Corvallis) will not only be helping you to prepare the meal, but they'll be sitting down and enjoying this family style meal with us. (You don't have to make it if you don't want to! Just come and enjoy if you prefer).
Ticket will include multiple courses--salads and pastas, beverages -- which will be completely awesome -- from a welcome cocktail to the seven special Oregon wines ON TAP, to the special Grassa/Lardo beer brewed up by the masters at Breakside Brewery, along with the hands-on experience and goodies to take home, including fresh pasta and sauce. (There will be no adventure gift certificates for this event).
