a new play based on an old story
Our next production is a new play based on the Medea myth, written by ensemble member Jessica Shoemaker and directed by ensemble member Janet Howe. Jason and Medea isn't your grandmother's formal greek tragedy. Jessica and Janet are ripping the myth apart to explore things like sex, gender, love and power through a modern and timeless context. Our risk this time? We are going to do Jason and (Medea) for free.
