Hula Series with Ruby Mimosa!
Want a little tropical stay-cation? Look no further than here, Hula Hands & Hips! Miss Ruby Mimosa will help you achieve that soft dewy glow of the pacific islands right here in Seattle. Trained in the art of Hula, Ruby teaches the fundamentals and basic movements of this stunning storytelling dance form known as hula. Enjoy the classic and tropical tunes of Hawaii while engaging your core strength and graceful beauty. Movement friendly clothes are preferred, and grass skirts are optional!

Ruby Mimosa The Island Flower
Ruby is the 5th generation in her family to be born and raised in Hawaii. Brought up on Hula, Ballet, and Gymnastics this Island Flower has been dancing since she was three. Ruby moved to Seattle in 2006, where she quickly got recruited as seventh member to the 'International Supertroope', The Atomic Bombshells. Ruby has been one of the primary instructors at Miss Indigo Blue's Academy of Burlesque since 2007, teaching Burlesque Bump & Grind, Tassel Twirling, and The Art of the Tease to women and men of all shapes and sizes. For the past 4 years Ruby has been shimmying her way along countless rock and roll stages throughout Seattle and SXSW 2011 with cowboy band Brent Amaker & the Rodeo. Catch Ruby Mimosa dancing and teaching and performing with Dance Belt USA, performing and traveling with The Atomic Bombshells, and occasionally sunning her skin on the heavenly beaches back home. ps keep an eye out for Ruby Mimosa's Burlesque related retail shop The Burlesque Boutique!
