Summer Sing
Gwen Gould will lead the July 15 Sing, which will include Mozart's "Requiem, K. 626," and "Ave Verum Corpus, K. 618." Michael Clement will provide piano accompaniment. Gould has enjoyed a diverse career in music as a recitalist, music director, conductor, and entrepreneur. She founded the Columbia Festival Orchestra, the West Village Chorale, Diamond Opera Theater, and ClaverackLanding. A national competition finalist, she performed extensively as a solo recitalist and developed a career as an organist and director of music in New York City. The sings are open to all and meet three Monday evenings in a row.
