In case it wasn't clear from our siphon bars, stacks of Hario equipment and Kyoto-style iced coffee machines, we here at Blue Bottle are obsessed with Japanese coffee culture.
As such, we're pleased to announce a collaboration with Merry "Corky" White, author of the critically acclaimed book "Coffee Life in Japan." From 1-3 p.m. at our Chelsea siphon bar, Ms. White will host a discussion about Japan's influence on American coffee service think a professor's office hours, except with no grades at stake, and plenty of siphon coffee to go around. This event, which includes a curated coffee experience, is $25.
