Girls Incorporated 17th Annual Women of Taste Event
Join leading Bay Area chefs for an evening of fine cuisine benefiting Girls Incorporated of Alameda County in its mission of inspiring all girls to be strong, smart and bold!
Held Saturday, September 27th in the outdoor gardens of the Oakland Museum of CA, this unforgettable affair features tastings from over 30 notable restaurants and 20 beverage companies, an extensive silent auction, live entertainment, dancing, and an art exhibit.
Attracting over 1,300 guests each year, Women of Taste continues to grow in size and scope, bringing increased visibility to Girls Inc.'s mission and vital funding to our literacy, college prep, sports, health, science and math programs. The event receives media sponsorship from Oakland Tribune, NBC 11, Wild 94.9, Oakland Magazine, Alameda East Bay Express, 96.5 KOIT, Diablo Magazine, yelp.com and Bay Area Business Woman.
We hope you'll join us for Women of Taste 2008 as we bring community, restaurateurs, wineries, and event sponsors together to raise funds for 7,000 Girls Inc. participants.
