Slow Food Kansas City Presents Local Wine & Artisan Cheese at the Cellar Rat
Join Slow Food Kansas City at the Cellar Rat Wine Merchants in the Crossroads for a tasting of local wines and artisan cheese from Skyview Farm and Creamery (http://www.skyviewfarm.net/). Cellar Rat's General Manager Ryan Sciara will walk us through a tasting of local wines. Sherri Noffke of Skyview (recently featured in 435 Magazine) will give us a taste of her family's cave-aged and fresh cheeses and talk to us about the farm and cheesemaking. The Noffkes make a variety of goat's milk, cow's milk and co-mingled cheeses on their 80 acre farm in Pleasanton, KS. We'll also have a selection of Farm to Market breads to accompany our wine and cheese. Local Wines, Local Cheese Thursday, April 18th, 2013 7:00 - 8:30 pm
