NYC BUS for BRADLEY! Road Trip to Ft. Meade, SATURDAY June 1st

Calling all residents of the NYC metro area! We are organizing buses to travel to Fort Meade on June 1st, in order to attend the historic rally that will mark the start of Bradley Manning's court martial. Bradley Manning is the 3 time Nobel Peace Prize nominated whistleblower that released 1000s of US government documents to the news organization Wikileaks. These documents detailed war crimes, corruption, criminal activity and many revelations about diplomacy around the world, and the US's part in all of these events.
Because the US government refuses to recognize his incredible service to the public, Bradley is facing life in prison - and it has been ONLY through activism that he was transferred out of torturous pre-trial conditions that organizations and leaders around the world have condemned - and it will be ONLY through activism that he is given a shot at fair, non-politicized justice during his trial.
These days will be the most important of Bradley's life - and thus June 1st will be the most important day of activism for Bradley. 100,000s of citizens from nations on every continent have gotten involved somehow in this campaign. We have reached the zero hour of our mission to free this American hero. If we fill one bus, we will work to get a second, and a third, and so on.
Activists have already generously donated to sponsor NYC's first bus - therefore, a ticket for bus 1 costs 20$. Your ticket pays for your transport to and from Fort Meade, leaving from and returning to Manhattan on the same day.
We will leave Manhattan at 7:30 AM on June 1st, and arrive at Ft Meade by noon. The bus will depart Ft. Meade at 6:00 PM, and arrive home between 10 and 11 PM. Locations:
Departure & Arrival Manhattan: 1270 Broadway, between 32nd and 33rd st
Departure & Arrival Ft Meade: the intersection of Reece Rd and Rt 175 (Annapolis Rd)

Can I purchase a one way from the rally to NYC? I would come to the rally from DC. |

That's awesome that you're coming to the rally! Unfortunately, we are only selling round-trip tickets. So if you'd just like to come back up with us, please just buy a ticket. hi there! unfortunately, probably not. we're working on some carpool options, and if we get anything concrete together in time, it will go up on this site. please consider a carpool or public transportation yourself, though! more info can be found on bradleymanning.org |
