Since arriving in Toronto in 2005, Andrew Johnston has quickly made a name for himself as one of the most prolific gadabouts and hottest up-&/or-comers on the comedy scene. The winner of the Toronto regionals of "The Great Canadian Laugh-Off" in its inaugural year, Andrew was added to the Yuk Yuk's roster, started touring and has spread both his signature style of comedy and murky-yet-puissant seed from burg to berg. A Canadian Comedy Award nominee for Best Newcomer in 2009, you'll also recognize him as one of the stars of MuchMusic's hit shows "Video On Trial" and "Love Court", from re-hashing the 90's alongside the likes of Kaeto Kaelin and Tatyana Ali on "Entertainment Tonight Canada" and as host and producer of the Toronto's most buzzed-about live comedy series, "Bitch Salad" - named "Best Queer Comedy Show" by Now Magazine and has been profiled in The Advocate.
