Secret Spaces/Haunted Places
Enjoy a self-guided tour of downtown Biddeford's Secret Places! You pick up a map at Heart of Biddeford and proceed to venues throughout Main Street and the mills where a tour guide will relate stories about our ghosts as well as historical background on the fascinating buildings.
This year's tour differs from the past with an emphasis on tales of the ghosts that have been said to inhabit different locations in Biddeford. Who will you meet in the looming City Hall clock tower or in the depths of the mill lagoon? What will spring from behind the curtains at City Theater or the bookshelves at McArthur Library? What awaits in the curious balconies in the Marble Block Building? You'll find this tour enchanting with the inclusion this year of MotorLand as well as a taste of the Biddeford Haunted Mills tours!
Each venue will have light refreshments.
All ages are welcome, many stairs are on the tours. You can visit as many of the locations as you wish over the four hour period.
