Art and Meaning Making
As humans we grapple with finding meaning in our lives. Why are we here? What are we meant to do or be in this life? What does it mean to be happy or fulfilled? This workshop explores how the creative process and art making can be part of asking the hard questions in life. Discussion, and a simple art making process will be part of the discovery process.
No experience is necessary, nor must you identify as an artist. All that is required is a curiosity about what art might open up for you, and a willingness to experiment and be surprised at the wellsprings of your own creativity.
Workshop Facilitators:
Sibel Golden, Ph.D., LMHC is a psychotherapist and creativity consultant in private practice. For over 20 years, she has blended her background in the arts with her work as a therapist offering creative journal writing tools that deepen self-discovery, provide an opportunity for catharsis, and a channel for inspiration.
