Description
Join Slow Food Madera and the California Fig Advisory Board for Fig Feast. After you attend Fig Fest in the morning you can feast on the fig based menu of rising star Chef Mike Shackelford. Start it off with a fig martini and appetizers then on to
a Dried Calimyrna Fig Waldorf Salad Il Giardino Organicos Baby Gem Lettuce Head Toasted Walnuts, Fuji Apples, Tender Celery Hearts
This will be accompanied by local wines paired by Chef Mike's sommelier brother Chris Shackelford. The Shackleford brothers operate Trelio restaurant in Clovis, but for the night they will be serving under the arbor of The Vineyard Farmer's Market. It will be a wonderful meal and a true celebration of one of our culinary treasures, the fig.
Price includes wine.
NOTE: No one under 21 years old will be admitted.
