Inspired by the histories and traditions of jerk in his hometown of Kingston, Jamaica, President & Founder of My Yute Soccer, Rovel Sparkes, decided to initiate a yearly community event not only to fundraise for My Yute Soccer but to share the taste and experience of Jamaican cooking.
The fundraising goal for 2013 is $10,000!
The money raised allows My Yute Soccer to continue on their mission to provide free soccer camps, educate youth in soccer, and promote awareness of socio-cultural differences for the general public.
My Yute accomplishes its mission by giving youth an opportunity to learn and be inspired by skilled, local coaches and players, volunteering their time and sharing their passion for the beautiful game.
