Event
After the Flood
After the Flood is an experimental performance piece exploring possibilities for post-Katrina New Orleans, as well as a unique interdisciplinary arts event. The performance is staged amidst the A+D Museums acclaimed architectural exhibit that offers new ideas for rebuilding the Big Easy. Each of the five performances will be followed by a DJ party with a full bar, sponsored by urb Magazine.
After the Flood is a sweet meditation on New Orleans, with its rich history, blighted present, and open future. Created by director Nick Konow and the ensemble, the piece takes us on a journey that includes hurricanes, Mardi Gras, jazz piano, and show puppets. The result is an hour-long delight, and an experience that will be hard to forget.
