For the first concert of 2013, GCG presents "An Evening of Light Classics". The music represents a wide variety of styles and time periods and includes music by well-known and not-so-well-known composers, such as Brahms, Elgar, Arne, Pilkington, Rutter and Vaughan Williams. As a tribute to the 30th Anniversary season, the Guild is also performing two pieces from prior seasons that are favorites among the singers, including Verleih' uns Frieden by Mendelssohn and Prayer of the Chidren by Bestor. GCG invites you to join them as they embark on this new year with new Artistic Director, Renée Wilson-Wicker.
