Poe's Last Mystery
It's 1849 and Edgar Allan Poe, desperate and destitute, will take the stage at the Old Dutch Church in Kingston, New York to read from his poems and tales of mystery. He'll perform from Annabel Lee, The Raven, The Cask of Amontillado and The Fall of the House of Usher, and we have it on good authority characters from those works will make surprise appearances. Poe will be tested as each ghostly visitor seeks revenge on him for the way in which they died. Are they figments of Poe*s delusional mind seeking revenge or are they real? Both entertaining and educational, the drama that unfolds during Poe's Last Mystery will alter events on what will prove to be the eve of his death.
This is an interactive show in that Edgar Allan Poe speaks directly to his audience.
