THE PREMIERE EVENT of the season! TVRWF is thrilled to present bestselling author, Dinesh D'Souza at our annual memebership event being held on April 13, 2013 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. This not to be missed event is open to everyone!
Dinesh D'Souza has had a distinguished 25 year career as a writer and scholar.
A former policy analyst in the Reagan White House, D'Douza also served as a Olin Fellow at the American Enterprise Institute as well as a Rishwain Scholar at the Hoover Institution at Stanford and as president of The King's College in New York City. Called one of the "top young public-policy makers in the country" by Investor's Business Daily, D'Souza quickly became a major influence on public policy through his writings.
"Illiberal Education", his first book, publicized the phenomenon of political correctness in America's colleges and universities and was on the bestseller list for 15 weeks. Subsequent best sellers include "Ronald Reagan: How an Ordinary Man Became an Extraordinary Leader", "The Virtue of Prosperity", "What's So Great About America", and "Letters to a Young Conservative".
His 2010 book, "The Roots of Obama's Rage", was described as the best political book of the year. His most recent book is the #1 New York Time's bestselling "Obama's America", which critically deals with Obama's inner compass and motivations. A film based on these books, "2016: Obama's America", was recently in theaters nationwide. It has risen to the second-highest all-time political documentary, passing Michael Moore's "Sicko" and Al Gore's "An Inconvenient Truth". "2016" has risen to #4 on the bestselling list of ALL documentaries.
A prolific writer, persuasive debater and sought after speaker, D'Souza has been named one of America's most influential conservative thinkers by the New York Times.
Doors open for this event at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale now for $40.00 per person. This includes admission, hor d'ouvers, beverages, and a no-host bar. Baskets will be raffled and Mr. D'Souza's books will be available for purchase. Mr. D'Souza will be available for book signings following his presentation.
