Bellingham Repertory Dance presents its seventh annual collaboration with Chuckanut Sandstone Writers Theater
"Phrasings in Word + Dance"
7:30 p.m., April 5-6 and at 5 p.m. April 7 at the Firehouse Performing Arts Center, 1314 Harris Ave. in Bellingham's Fairhaven neighborhood.
Celebrate National Poetry Month with this performance of modern dance works inspired by poetry. Poems were submitted from writers near and far and chosen by company members and guest choreographers to create a variety of performance works.
All proceeds from ticket sales, as well as a silent auction held at each performance, will help the nonprofit dance company cover the expenses of its upcoming season.
Tickets are $12 (student/senior) and $15 (general admission) at Village Books, Forest St. Food Co-op and online at www.brownpapertickets.com
