With 2013 underway, we want to look back to 2012 and celebrate all of our community's accomplishments in trying to build a community free from public sexual harassment and assault.
You're cordially invited to walk the red carpet at Room & Board on March 28 at Collective Action for Safe Spaces fundraiser "Lights, Camera, (Collective) Action!" The event will feature food, drinks, and entertainment from local businesses, fellow activists, and individual community members. Enjoy our photo booth or self-care corner with free massages!
Dancing! DJ vANNIEty Kills plays a monthly residency at The Brixton and rotating residencies at She.Rex at Chief Ike's, Ottomania at Zeba Bar, and various guests gigs around town. Listen to her now and get pumped to dance!
Live band! Siné Qua Non, a Washington, D.C.-based quintet that blends American jazz & Spanish classical guitar, was named the 2012 Jazz Artist of the Year by Washington City Paper.
Food & drinks! Including cherry blossom brownies (all natural & gluten-free!) from the amazing DC-based bakery, Goldilocks Goodies.
Tickets are $25. Event will run from 6 pm - 9 pm on the beautiful fourth floor show room and patio of Room & Board. We look forward to seeing you there!
