2nd Annual Brentwood Agricultural Land Trust benefit dinner

The Brentwood Agricultural Land Trust is preparing to host a second annual fundraising dinner on Saturday, May 20. Last year, BALT held its very successful first dinner: 220 people sat under the stars enjoying an extraordinary meal prepared by well known Bay Area chefs entirely from East Contra Costa produce, as well as wines from our local vintners.
During the past year, BALT has used the funds raised through the dinner to promote local agriculture and create connections between urban residents and local farmers. BALT is working with local farmers and vintners to begin a regional agricultural marketing project, a farm to school program and to reform County permitting so that farmer can make jams, jellies, wines and olive oil from the fruits and veggies they grow.
BALT's Second Annual Dinner will feature the same caliber of chefs (Eric Tucker from Millineum, Sean Baker from Google,and many more). On May 20 from 4:30 to 10:30 p.m., 300 people will have the opportunity to enjoy extraordinary dishes prepared with local produce and fine local wines at the beautiful Tamayo's Ca'na Vineyard near Brentwood (www.canawine.com). Once again, local farmers will be providing donating their finest "picked-that-day" fruits and vegetables. Some of the Bay Area's finest chefs will volunteer their time and talent to create dishes designed to showcase the unique, extraordinary season and "terroir" of Brentwood.

2. Pay for your tickets one of two ways:
a. You've already found the first way here on Brown Paper Tickets (Please mail us a copy of your Brown Paper Tickets payment receipt print-out along with Registration Form if you chose this option)
OR
b. By personal check payable to BALT (mailed in with your registration form to the address above)
Whether you pay online or mail a check tickets will be mailed directly to your home or office. For mailed checks received 5 days or less before the event tickets will be held and may be picked up at the will call area on the day of the event.
Simply bring your ticket on the day of the event, give it along with your name to an ushers and let the party begin!!
BALT has been able to arrange special room rates with some local hotels so if you're coming from out of town we'd love to have you be an honorary resident for a day and stay the night! When you call to make reservations simply mention that you'll be attending the BALT benefit Dinner to get the special rates below.
