Acting Masterclass with Blake Berris
A DC Independent Film Festival MASTERCLASS:
Emmy nominated actor Blake Berris leads this hands-on opportunity to read from script with an established TV and film actor followed by critique, suggestions for improvement, tips on acting for camera etc. Individual or paired sessions and a group discussion. If possible, participants should plan on bringing a headshot, as both the craft and the business of acting are explained by a professional actor.

Speaker: Blake Berris
Berris originated the role of Nick Fallon on NBC's soap opera Days of our Lives for which he received an Emmy Nomination. Other TV credits include CBS's Numb3rs and The Mentalist, USA's The Starter Wife, CBS's The Big Bang Theory, AMC's Breaking Bad, NBC's Prime Suspect among others. Berris's filmwork includes Meth Head, alongside Lukas Haas and Necar Zadegan, House of Last Things directed by Michael Bartlett, Minkow which he stars along with James Caan and Ving Rhames about the real life story of con-artist and ponzi schemer, Barry Minkow.
