Into the Fold
The Pinnacle Pavillion Portland, OR
Founding member and Portland native Rachel Tess and co-director Stephan Laks have created a dynamic evening of contemporary dance called Into the Fold, in collaboration with local painter/sculptor Karen Madsen, and Oregon Ballet Theatres world-renowned lighting designer Michael Mazzola. Rumpus Room will present fellow Juilliard graduate and internationally experienced dancer Banning Roberts as part of their commitment to creating work locally with an international outlook. Blending explosive and lyrical movement with innovative lighting, Rumpus Room has assembled a landscape of bold colors and contemplative negative spaces for audience members to explore at the glass encased Pinnacle Pavilion in the Pearl District.
Note: There will be no late seating. Parking can be found on street or there is a Smart Park garage several blocks away off of Lovejoy and Station Way.
