GODSPELL Concord CA
The Grant Street Players present Godspell, a musical based on the Gospel According to St. Matthew... and then some, for 6 performances at St. Michael's Episcopal Church for two weekends in February (Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoons).
Godspell is a joyous celebration of life and faith, told in this production by 10 energetic 17-20 year olds who will give you something smile about and something to remember. Based on the original 1971 production centering on clowns telling the parables and singing the songs, Godspell is sure to warm your heart and touch your spirit.
Presented by the Grant Street Players of St. Michael's & St. John's Episcopal Churches, a performing arts outreach to underserved high school and college age young adults in the area.
With Victor Meneses, Chris Jolivette, Annalise Bascom, Somer Northern, Miguel Arreola, Maria Munoz, Jacob Freeman, Jessica LaMarre, Eva Li and George Kline.
