Move from Talk to Action If you're tired of hearing about the need for sustainability and capacity building and want to take action, this workshop will deliver.
Tools for Growth Practical and proven tools, as well as examples of what others are already successfully doing will be in abundance in this one-day workshop. Our goal is to help you begin to leverage existing entrepreneurial and enterprising strengths in your nonprofit organization toward more sustainable future.
SESSION 1--9:00am-12:00pm For organizations beginning to think about ways to develop entrepreneurial approaches and earned income.
* Moving Toward Organizational Sustainability: Identifying Goals and Strategies
* Choosing and Articulating Your Ideas: Hands-On Exercise
* How to Move Forward: Gathering Information and Identifying Next Steps
SESSION 2--1:30pm-4:30pm For organizations who participated in Session 1 or who are ready to integrate entrepreneurial and earned income methods into their work.
* Considering an Earned-Income Approach: Entrepreneurship for Strengthening Your Nonprofit
* Serving Your Stakeholders: Determining the Value of Your Proposition
* Moving Toward Developing Your Business Model: Information Gathering and Identifying Next Steps
Cost & Registration Single Session--$90 before May 16; $100 after Both Sessions--$150 before May 16; $175 after Includes light snacks and materials.

BACKGROUND This workshop features the Sustayne (www.sustayne.com) methodology for nonprofit business planning and is based on the life work of Bainbridge Graduate Institute's founder Gifford Pinchot III.
