Quiet City Presents NYC Composers and Performers at Secret Theatre
Quiet City is a NYC based network of experimental composers, performers and improvisers that explores the relationship between traditionally notated concert music and extemporaneous performance via different methods of improvisation. This concert will feature NYC composers and performers that were selected from the Winter 2012 call for scores. Composers include Drake Anderson, Matthew Hough, Viola Yip, Guy Barash, Adam Cuthbért, Luke Schwartz, Vasu Panicker, Joe Fee, Ryan Homsey, Brian House and Gabriel Zucker. Featured performers include ensembles Elevator Rose, First Construction, InnoVox Ensemble and more! Event takes place on Friday, April 5th, 2012 at Secret Theatre in Long Island City, Queens!
