Designed for Dining: The New SLU
Hungry for design? Satisfy your palette with this unique tour through Seattle's newest dining district, South Lake Union. Along the route you'll get to know the neighborhood, meet some of the architects and restauranteurs behind these establishments, and learn more about the critical role design plays in creating a tasty dining experience. Tour stops include Shanik, Cuoco, Bravehorse Tavern and others.
Please meet at Bravehorse Tavern, located at 310 Terry Ave N (between Harrison and Thomas Streets). This location is serviced by the South Lake Union Streetcar, as well as many Sound Transit bus lines (8,98, 40). There are some pay parking lots in the area: 8th & Thomas: $2 for for 10 hours. 424 Boren Ave N: $2.45 for 10 hours. Thomas & Boren: $7 for 10 hours.
