"Dust Storm: Art and Survival in a Time of Paranoia", is an original one-man play written by Rick Foster, and starring Zachary Drake. Dust Storm tells a story of the internment of Japanese Americans during the second world war, using the art of Chiura Obata, who was a Professor at UC Berkeley. Mr. Drake plays Seiji, a fictional 18-year-old man who was placed in the internment camps along with the artist Obata.

This is a youth-friendly show and can be enjoyed by children and adults ages 8 and over.

Note: 100% of proceeds will benefit the Unitarian Universalist Church of Berkeley. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. General seating. Tickets will also be sold at the door, but we cannot guarantee that seats will be available.
