Latinitas Spring Break Music Journalism Camp
Latinitas is hosting it's annual Spring Break Camp on March 11-15th 2013.
Girls ages 9-14 will have the chance to interview artists during SXSW as well as create media of their own! Shooting video, exploring photography and writing their own blogs are popular among the many activities Latinitas has lined up.
Past activities included:
Flash mob at the Alamo Drafthouse South Lamar
6th Street Photo Scavenger Hunt during SXSW
Interview with singer Andrea Balency
Skype Interview with Mexican band Dirty Karma
We get young girls connected while teaching them the basic media literacy skills they'll need to succeed in a media career!
