Family Fashion Challenge
Family Fashion Challenge. Explore fashion as artifact with hands on activities including trying on reproductions of historic fashions and team up to create your own unique ensemble. Teams will then be given a design challenge and recycled material, clothing and supplies to create their outfit which will be shown in our own mini fashion show in the boomtown gallery. Prizes will be awarded for best design, most functional, silliest and much much more. Suitable for all ages!
Presented in conjunction with Fashion at MOHAI, a special exhibit featuring the world-famous Theatre de la Mode fashions and sets from post-WWII Paris and famous French designers, plus miniature dolls and full-size couture fashions. Lectures and other special programs will be offered throughout the run of the show. Presented with support from MOHAI members and donors. Open through Sunday, July 16, 2006.
