Join us for our 9th annual fundraiser for Powerful Schools to raise funds for programs and services that benefit our students, their families and the public schools in the Powerful Schools Community!
This year's theme is a Journey Back to the 80's. Dust off that totally awesome prom dress, leotard or zubaz pants and dig out those jelly bracelets, lace gloves or that red Michael Jackson leather jacket for a fun filled night with your favorite 80's tunes from DJ Mullet. This year food will be provided by Tutta Bella and of course totally awesome drinks will be served.
Since 1991, Powerful Schools has delivered stimulating, multi-year, school-wide academic programs integrated into public elementary schools in Seattle and South King County. Our target audience is children who are the least empowered and whom are enrolled in schools that lack resources. During the 2012-13 school year, Powerful Schools will work with more than 4,300 children and their families in 12 Seattle and South King County elementary schools and six CDSA preschools.
Online ticket sales close at 6pm on Wednesday, May 15. Tickets will be available for purchase at the door for $50.
